Our Story

Our journey didn't begin in a boardroom; it started on the water and in the woods. Living between the quiet forests of Milford, Michigan, and the sun-drenched coast of Steinhatchee, Florida, we spend our lives chasing the next adventure. Whether we’re navigating a fishing tournament, heading out for a hunt, or diving for scallops, the outdoors is where we feel most at home.

For years, we found ourselves frustrated by the gear available to us. We wanted high-performance apparel that could withstand the elements—salt spray, heavy brush, and long days under the sun—but we also wanted gear that actually looked good. We were tired of choosing between technical functionality and style. So, we started making our own. What began as custom shirts and gear for our personal tournament teams quickly became a passion project. We realized that if we couldn't find the perfect balance of quality and aesthetics, other outdoorsmen and women couldn't either.

Inspired by the Guardians of Our Gear: Angel & Sophie

Every great journey needs a mascot, but ours are so much more than that. Angel and Sophie, our two rescued Great Pyrenees, are the heartbeat of PyrOutdoors.

Anyone who knows the Great Pyrenees breed knows they aren't just dogs; they are devoted guardians, steady spirits, and the ultimate adventure partners. We chose them as the face of our brand because they embody the very qualities we build into our products:
